About the Founder

Wesley Silveira de Almeida is the founder and creative director of Art Pattern Studio, a Brazilian-led surface design studio creating seamless patterns for fashion, textiles, interiors, wallpaper, accessories and branded products.

Fashion Design Education

Wesley studied Fashion Design at Anhanguera University in São Paulo and later completed a postgraduate specialization at SENAI Francisco Matarazzo. His education combined creative development with the technical realities of garment construction, textile production and commercial fashion.

More Than 15 Years in Fashion and Textile Development

Across more than fifteen years of professional experience, Wesley developed a practical understanding of how artwork moves from an initial visual idea into a finished collection. His background includes work with established fashion companies in Brazil, where design decisions needed to respond not only to trend direction but also to material, scale, repeat, product category and production constraints.

This experience continues to shape the Art Pattern Studio approach. A pattern is evaluated as part of a product system: how it behaves across seams, how color responds to the substrate, whether the repeat holds across a broad surface and which commercial license fits the intended distribution.

Surface Pattern Design Expertise

Wesley specializes in seamless repeat development for fashion prints, fabric collections, wallpaper, home decor, accessories, stationery, packaging and digital applications. His portfolio moves between animal markings, florals, geometric structures, heritage plaids, abstract surfaces, polka dots and luxury-inspired monograms.

Rather than treating every motif as an isolated artwork, he develops pattern families with attention to hierarchy, coordinates, colorways and product scale. This makes the designs useful to fashion designers, textile manufacturers, interior brands and licensing buyers building coherent commercial collections.

International Stock Marketplace Experience

Before establishing Art Pattern Studio, Wesley became a contributor to international creative marketplaces including Adobe Stock, Shutterstock and Getty Images. His artwork has generated more than 5,000 downloads worldwide, providing direct insight into how designers, brands and creative teams source visual assets across different markets.
